September and October bring Harvest, the season to celebrate delicious local produce that is home grown in the Garden of England. Autumn 2011 is the perfect time to pop down to Kent's top attractions with food and drink festivals, farmers' markets and other spectacular cultural events taking place. All of this is timed perfectly with the much anticipated official opening weekend of the spectacular Marlowe Theatre.

Probably the most up to date and largest swimming complex in the South East. Leisure pool with flumes and rapids, as well as lane swimming pool for those who want to get fit.

Visitors to Broadhembury Holiday Park are most welcome to visit Ashford Town Cricket Club (previously Old Stacians Cricket Club), where they can enjoy the cricket and use the comfortable licensed bar. The cricket ground is a stroll away at the end of our lane.
8 Charlie’s Lake - Fishing Charlie’s Lake - Fishing
There are two private lakes within 500 metres of the park, and daytime or night fishing can be arranged. There is also public fishing on the Royal Military Canal, some 3 miles away. Several fishing boats at Folkestone organise sea fishing trips. Excellent beach fishing at Dungeness, Hythe and Folkestone.
9 Battle Abbey Battle Abbey
This majestic building was built in 1070, and dominates the small town that grew up around it. The gatehouse (1338) houses an audio-visual exhibition about the battle of 1066.
10 Bedgebury National Pinetum Bedgebury National Pinetum
Bedgebury contains the most comprehensive collection of conifers in Europe. It is both a botanical research facility, and a place for an enjoyable walk among mature trees.

A charming 18th century house set in delightful grounds in the beautiful Kentish countryside. Belmont contains beautiful furniture, a wonderful collection of clocks and watches and a fine collection of paintings.

See the Roman pharaohs , or light house, and also travel deep inside the white cliffs to explore one of the best kept war time secrets, discover the underground tunnels where Winston Churchill and Admiral Ransay masterminded the evacuation of Dunkirk.
