What happens if I arrive in the middle of the night? |

1. What happens if I arrive in the middle of the night? Arriving out of hours is not a problem at Broadhembury Holiday Park. We have an area specially designated for temporary overnight stays. Let us know in advance if you are likely to get to the park between 2000 hrs and 0800 hrs, and we will give you instructions on where to pitch for the night. |

2. You are a country park. Will our children find enough to occupy themselves? At Broadhembury Holiday Park we have a large children's playground, a sports field, games room and TV room. There is football, volleyball, etc outside, and pool, table football, pinball etc inside. See our children's page for more details. |

3. I see you allow pets, but I'm allergic to dogs. I am concerned that this may cause me a problem Pets are welcome, but only on our touring park or owner occupied holiday homes. On the park we have exercise meadows for your dog, and many walks from the park through local woods and fields (details at reception) Pets must be kept on a lead at all times and not allowed to be a nuisance to other people. Pets are not permitted in holiday homes for hire. |

4. Do you have a bar on the park? Beer and wine are available from the park shop, but a bar is just a stroll away at the local cricket club along the lane. Broadhembury visitors are always made most welcome there in the convivial surroundings. There are also two or three local pubs offering excellent food and entertainment. |

5. During school holidays, playful youngsters can sometimes be a nuisance. What do you do about this? We certainly do welcome families. However, Our large, safe children's playground and playing field are adjacent to, but not amongst the caravans & tents. We are sure you will enjoy a peaceful, relaxing stay with us. |

6. Is there a swimming pool at Broadhembury? There are excellent sports centres with swimming pools in the area. The Stour Centre in Ashford is only 10 minutes away, with probably the most up to date and largest swimming complex in the South East. Leisure pool with flumes and rapids, as well as lane swimming pool for those who want to get fit.” At nearby Tenterden the Leisure Centre boasts a swimming pool with wave maker, flumes and other attractions. |

7. Do you have a shop on the park? Yes, in the reception building we keep various provisions - milk, bread, breakfast cereals, tinned and frozen foods, soft drinks, ice cream etc etc...., and an assorted selection of wines and beers. And of course newspapers |

8. I heard someone talking about a Fully Serviced Pitch. Could you explain? Our fully serviced positions are individual areas, 12m x 12m (39ft x 39ft), with a gravel hard standing of 8m x 5m (26ft x 16ft). Each position has parking for vehicles alongside. There is an individual service bollard which has : 16 amp electricity supply, with standard blue round pin plug; Fresh water, pressure reduced to 1 bar with a standard "hoselock" connector; 2 x 32mm waste water away connections, for sink/shower; 1 x 80mm hopper pipe sewerage connection for chemical/holding tank fitting. A picnic table & chairs are supplied. All of our "F.S. positions" are frequently checked by our staff to ensure everything is just right for your stay with us. |

9. What is a Camper's Kitchen? Our camper's kitchen is a covered area where visitors may wash dishes, prepare food, and store perishable foods (clearly marked with name & date) in a fridge or freezer. There is ample worktop space, and four stainless sinks with free hot & cold water. See our latest news page for pictures. |

10. I enjoy coarse fishing. What can you offer me? There are two private lakes within 500 metres of the park, and daytime or night fishing can be arranged. There is also public fishing on the Royal Military Canal, some 3 miles away. Several fishing boats at Folkestone organise seas fishing trips. Excellent beach fishing at Dungerness, Hythe and Folkestone. |
