People holidaying without children, are allocated pitches on The Meadows. This lovely, tranquil meadow area, furthest from the park facilities,* offers a relaxing, quiet pitch away from the bustle and excitement of family holidays.

Some positions are fully serviced hard standing pitches, please let us know at the time of booking if you would like a serviced pitch.

Couples with touring caravans or campervans who don’t mind a walk to the facilities, may like a pitch on our “Top Meadows”. These meadows are probably the most tranquil and peaceful area on the park. Surrounded by arable fields and beautiful trees, in the evenings you will be rewarded by varied wildlife from rabbits, an occasional hare, badgers and too many different types of bird to mention. If you come during May, you may hear nightingales sing. Lighting is kept to a minimum, and starlit nights are something special to see.

* if you have mobility problems, or are concerned about being 100 metres from the toilets and showers, The Meadows may not be suitable for you. In this case , please let us know, and we will be happy to allocate you a pitch according to your requirements.
