Rons done it again!

Our staff are special! In 2008 our manager Ron Beer, was awarded, “Employee of the Year” award by Kent County Council and VisitKent. We are very proud to announce that in 2010 Ron again won the title of "Employee of the Year" - the man who made your holiday so special.

We are so pleased that both Beryl and Pat - long time employees at Broadhembury were also nominated for "Employee of the Year" - yes, they were good, but not quite good enough, as Ron still won!

Maintenance Work

Because we want you to enjoy our green and pleasant park at its very best we carry out ground maintenance programme during September.
After a very busy summer, some of our pitches look a little worn and tired so each year our staff scarify, rake, re-seed and water to ensure they are all in tip top condition.
However, this should not disturb your stay here. You may even enjoy watching the progress day by day, and even start to see the results of this labour. Work does not begin until 10am and is finished by 4pm during Monday to Friday only. There is very little noisy machinery involved.
The only change that you will notice is that instead of pitching your tent or caravan directly adjacent to the perimeter, you will be asked to move forward by approximately 4 metres, to the left of the rope barrier shown in the top photo. There is plenty of room on the park to allow for this, and it will not bring you any closer to the next pitch. As you will see above you will just be a bit further away from the hedge line and nearer the centre of the park.
We thank you for your understanding and co-operation during this busy time, which should not affect your enjoyment at all. When we welcome you back again you will be able to see the results of all this good work.
