Keith and Jenny Taylor, the resident proprietors, purchased Broadhembury farm in 1969.

Broadhembury joined the South East Tourist Board in 1975, and having instigated a large investment programme, were rewarded when in 1988 the grading of "5 stars - excellent" was bestowed upon the park. See our 'Awards' page for details. In 1992 Broadhembury Holiday Park became part of the ‘Best Of British’ a prestigious group of around 40 camping UK touring parks. Best of British parks are all graded excellent by Visitbritain, but all make a big effort to go that little bit further with the services they provide and the welcome they extend.
