You can arrive before check in time of 2pm to familiarise yourself with Broadhembury, and for children to use the playpark, playing fields and games room. However, there is not access to the pods before 2pm.

If using our online booking system, you would need to book each pod individually making note that you would like to be together – we would not however be able to guarantee this until we have checked the bookings and confirmed that we can accommodate you together. For group bookings you may find it easier to book by calling 01233 620859 and we will process the booking on the telephone. Please note that all bookings of 2 or more are asked to sign our Group Policy on arrival – we will email you a copy of this on booking. A copy is also available on our website under the ‘Park’ menu.

We invite guests to check in from 2pm onwards. Check out time is 10am. Please plan ahead to arrive at Broadhembury by 6pm. IMPORTANT: We do not do late check-ins after 7pm as this would disturb other guests so please plan your travel itinerary accordingly. Travel time from London is at least 2½ hours this may be longer if you intend to travel through the Dartford tunnel or join the M25/M20 after 4.30pm. Please plan your journey to arrive before 7pm.

Subject to availability, we may be able to accommodate early check-ins and later departures; please call us for arrangements.

16 and over are classed as Adults.

The pods are designed to fit a maximum of two adults on a double bed and two children on the bunk bed. Please call or email us to discuss arrangements for bringing an extra child.

No. Glamping at Broadhembury is all about the experience of staying in our luxuriously-designed unique pods. If you wish to put up any other camping equipment it would need to be on one of our touring pitches and be subject to our standard touring tariffs.

BBQs are provided in your ‘garden area’ and that’s where cooking is done. Cooking of any form inside the pod is strictly prohibited.

We provide a cool box and freezer packs for if you wish to store any perishable food items. You can re-freeze icepacks in our freezer in the Campers’ Kitchen. Any drinks maybe stored in the fridge within the Campers’ Kitchen to chill down – subject to space within it. Items are left in the fridge/freezer at each guests own risk.

We provide a gas BBQ for your use, but if you wish to bring a firepit or chiminea, please make sure it is at least 3m from hedges, fences, touring units and vehicles. These should always be raised off the ground (bricks are supplied at Service Points or you can purchase a stand from reception). Note that we only allow the burning of charcoal or smokeless fuel logs (no airborne fuels such as wood).  Please be safety aware and keep a bucket of water nearby. We do not allow open fires of any kind.

There is an electric kettle in your pod, you have access to the Campers’ Kitchen and here you will find a microwave that can be used for warming bottles and baby food.

Yes. Access on and off the estate is not a problem at any time, as you are provided with your own unique gate code on arrival.

Yes, you are welcome to have visitors whilst staying on the Park, but unless by prior arrangement, please only have 1 visiting vehicle at any time as our space is limited. For security & safety, your visitors must register at Reception before proceeding on to the Park. There is a charge for day visitors (stays of longer than 5 hours) of £5 per couple and £8 per family. We ask that all visitors leave the Park by 10pm.

Your BBQ area is open to all the weather elements. If you are willing to cook out in the rain then you are more than welcome, but you will need to bring a large umbrella. You can use the many delivery companies that service Broadhembury to order take-away food; Pizza, Fish &Chips, Chinese & Indian are all options. There are lots of local pubs & restaurants around which our staff can recommend for you.

Please be aware of our full cancellation policy, as detailed in our T&C’s, before proceeding with your booking. Broadhembury Caravan & Camping Park is a holiday company and operates to the same industry principles as travel companies, tour operators and airlines. We strongly advise that you have valid holiday insurance in place that will provide suitable cover for accidents, illness, bereavement, transport difficulties as well as extreme weather conditions. In the event that you wish to change or cancel holiday arrangements due to these circumstances we do not make refunds or guarantee transfers but will assist with documentation for processing your claim with your chosen holiday insurance provider.

We want you to enjoy all Broadhembury has to offer and not worry about your tent during the day or night. There is a member of our staff on site all day, every day, and you will be given an Out of Hours number on your arrival. Your car is parked in close proximity to your pod for the duration of your stay and you can, of-course store any small valuable items in there.

Hairdryers are available in our Ladies and Gents facilities.

Certified assistance dogs only are allowed within our Glamping options. We regret that we cannot accept bookings with any other pets.

Broadhembury extends a very warm welcome to all visitors. We have considered the requirements of our visitors – from the very youngest to seniors, doing our best to accommodate everyone’s needs wherever possible. Where full access is not possible, we hope that we have made this clear within our full access statement which you will find online or we are happy to email you a copy. Should you have specific concerns or requirements regarding access, please contact us to discuss these directly so that we can help you get the very most out of your stay.
